About TWIN-RELECT

The TWIN-RELECT project, which commenced on October 1, 2024, focuses on advancing the design of reliable electronic systems. These systems are vital in various critical applications, including Space missions, Avionics, Automotive industry, Smart industry, Medicine, Banking, Nuclear power plants, and High energy physics research. As semiconductor technologies continue to advance, designing reliable electronic systems has become increasingly challenging. This project aims to develop novel analysis and design methods and tools to address these challenges.

Project Objective

The primary goal of TWIN-RELECT is to enhance the scientific and innovation capacity of the University of Thessaly (UTH) in the field of reliable electronic systems design. This will be achieved through strategic networking with three advanced partners:

• IHP - Institute for High Performance Microelectronics (Germany)
• National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) (France)
• University of Manchester (United Kingdom)
