Twin-Relect at the 1st TAICHIP Winter School (IHP): "Reliable Hardware Infrastructure for Upcoming AI Chips"
The TWIN-RELECT team had the opportunity to participate in the 1st TAICHIP Winter School held from February 10 to 12, 2025, at IHP - Leibniz Institute for High Performance Microelectronics in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. The event, centered on the theme Reliable Hardware Infrastructure for Upcoming AI Chips, attracted leading experts and researchers to discuss the crucial topics of AI chip reliability, performance, and infrastructure

We are deeply grateful to IHP for suggesting and inviting us to participate in this event. During the Winter School, the TWIN-RELECT team had the opportunity to showcase our work, present our latest research, and engage in thought-provoking discussions with fellow researchers. It was a fantastic platform to exchange ideas, explore future collaborative opportunities, and establish meaningful connections within the global research community.
The program covered a wide range of relevant topics, including PhD forums, keynote talks, and specialized lectures on AI-driven high-performance systems, fault-tolerant architectures, and the integration of deep learning methods. The team had invaluable access to knowledge and technical expertise, which will significantly contribute to our ongoing work and future research.
The event also included a visit to IHP’s laboratories and clean-room facilities, offering a hands-on look at cutting-edge research and technology in the AI chip domain. We are looking forward to continuing our collaboration with the IHP team and other participants, advancing our work in AI hardware infrastructure.
